Precept brake controller
If I buy a dolly with electric brakes do I have to install a brake controller on my Precept or is it already part of the plug-in on the hitch?

Usually customer/dealer installed, some of the wiring is already in place though.

The coach is wired for brake controller from factory (Ford). Install is very easy and quick. Hard part is finding the needed harness that is tucked up under dash. With correct adaptor wire (purchase with controller at CW) the unit is plug and play - very easy.

Try a dolly with surge brakes. We like ours towing an equinox

Does your dolly have a maximum speed limit. I’m looking at buying a car dolly with surge brakes and some have a 55 MPH max.
