Pressure regulator

I just got a new adjustable Valterra water pressure regulator. The gauge is filled with a fluid but there is an air bubble in it that exposes about a quarter of the dial. Is this a defect that needs to go back to Amazon or is that normal?

Liquid filled gauges are not totally filled. Usually about 80% full. So I would say it's probably okay.

That's normal. They're filled with oil for a more accurate reading. You're good to go!
