We just ordered our unit precept 31ul with trifold sofa. Reading threads today saw "everyone hates the couch". Which is more comfortable? Appreciate your feedback in case we need to do change order!!!!!
Several of us Precept 31UL owners replaced our uncomfortable sofa with recliners from Lambright Custom Chairs in Shipshewana, IN near the Jayco factory. You can find some photos on the Precept Owners forum.
Totally agree couch is uncomfortable. Very upright. We pull it out into the bed to watch TV. If you don't need the couch to serve as a bed I'd go with comfy theater seats.

I have tried to buy the Jayco recliner to replace our couch and they must have the VIN number, that doesn't work, they then want to sell me a couch. Very frustrating!
We really thought we wanted the 31UL until we compared side by side with a 35S. I'm 6'2" and after debating the bed sofa and dinette it was 3 thumbs up for the 35S. We also like the hook ups for the washer dryer and all the storage.

We have them they are terrible don't latch takes 2 people to get closed lippert says no issue a waste of time talking to either party told me to go to camping world go to Rv store in Elkhart 2015 pinnacle beige be glad to sell ours
