31BHDS Mods

Just recently purchased our (new to us) 2009 31BHDS. We're already finding out there are a million and one things on our "wish list". Slowly getting through them; added a 2nd battery, installed 12V outlets, installed Fantastic Fan in bathroom (adding two additional ones in bedrooms soon), organized pantry using "Lock & Lock" containers (perfect for small places as they are all square and rectangular shape...work great for leftovers in fridge too).

The ones we felt that were picture-worthy are; shelf in kitchen and shelves in back bedroom.

We hung a small LCD TV in the master bedroom so had the wall shelf that was just too good to throw away. Hubby and I came up with the idea of using it for an "addition" to my kitchen counter.

Trying to personalize our trailer a little and make it have a "homey" feeling for our kids as we plan to be traveling some and stationary some while we do contracting work. We just chocked the wheels and planning to be here for the next 9 months so thought some shelves for the kids back bedroom would give them more room. Father and hubby designed shelves so they are "permanent" and sized so they don't interfere when putting the slide in. Now of course we will be boxing up a "few" things when it's time to roll but that shouldn't be too hard.

I especially like the swing up shelf in the kitchen. Just be careful of someone clipping it as they walk by!

Thanks y'all...it's one of those things that I typically don't use when there's alot of "traffic" moving through. It's a nice few extra inches seeing how the kitchen area isn't exactly a "Chef's" kitchen! LOL!

Thinking about adding some shelf's to our camper. But worried I want use the right hanging mechanism. Don't really like the shelf supports so thinking about custom making my own. Any ideas on how to hang using what hardware in the wall and any other ideas. Thanks
