A few indoor additions

the wall splash guard was bought at big box store. I cut and fitted it.
I made the elevated stove cover from the same material and fitted it to a piece of birch hobby wood...used cedar block for feet.
added the border to the wall just too break up the paneling.
I used colored electrical tape on the shore cord so that I wouldn't over extend it while pulling it out. yellow indicates 2 feet to go and red indicates..STOP.
just a few of the things I've done to the 184bh.
dish towel holder from box store too.

I have also seen a green ring of tape to use as a guide for how much clearance you need for the slide-out.

rowboat side table

One thing I just finished was a rowboat side table for between the recliners ... its light ..folds up to fit in ottoman for travel and helps complete the lake cottage feel ..lol

I love your boat table, I've got an old wood stove end table.

well I am just trying to add some side tables and things that make the camper a little more usable. I am surprised that a lot of them don't have any side tables for drinks or books or snacks when you are sitting watching tv or laying in bed I have also built some side book holders for the bed which will slide in between mattress and wall and give us a place to put things at night in bed

I will post pics of both in the camper once I get it back from the dealer .... the boat side table idea came from a pic I saw online and I liked it so just sort of designed my own ... a friend did the wood work and I finished them ... he has more tools than me lol

Wow, that's a great idea. (can't believe I didn't think of that, having been an electrician!) Great thread on the ideas. The boat table is sweet also. All I've done so far is added another outlet to the kitchen counter and some motion sensing lights up the stairs to the bedroom. Pretty dark going up at night, and no swith on the overhead light except the one on the light. Found these LED strip lights at Costco that fit right on top of the Valance over the window. They turn on automatically and turn back off in about 30 seconds, plus can manually operate them. Battery operated, no wiring required.
