Add on/off on handheld shower head

I know I've seen this discussed before but couldn't find the threads with a search. Amazon has several on/off valves that can be installed between the head and the hose. Just unscrew the head and screw the valve to the hose and the head to the female end of the valve. Comments imply that it will fit on an RV if it is a "Standard" size??

Anyone done this? What did you use? Links if possible.

I'm cheap. Lots of people go for the Oxygenics shower heard, but I've been very happy with my Camco #43711 - got it at Wally World, and it's a direct replacement for the shower heads that came with both of my Jaycos, a 2014 165RB and my new 23RLSW. And it's less than $10!

Thanks! I just bought Camco one on Amazon for $1 more. Never occurred to me to look for this but showers have been a pain to keep turning on/off knobs and finding right temp again!

I'm cheap in certain things too but I splurged on my oxygenics shower head. Best to keep the wife happy!

We have the add on ON-OFF valve. I prefer the one that you push versus the twist type. We bought them at Home Depot for less than $5.

Will take a look at the Cammo, I'm all for saving $$ for something that works.

Simply twisting the spay adjustment on the factory OEM shower head will turn the flow off. There really is no need to add the additional button valve unless you really just want it.

Interestingly, our OEM shower head does not seem to have an off position. Two spray settings but doesn't go past either to off.

Yeah, pretty sure I wouldn't of missed the twist off feature. Maybe you have a more upscale rig than us Clubhouse?
