Add TV to tow vehicle

I know this is slightly OT since the mod is not actually done on the trailer itself, but to the tow vehicle. Reason I am posting it is that I made the mod to facilitate long travels en route to camping destinations.

My RV mods: Add a 22 inch TV in Tow vehicle

I wanted to put in as big a tv as possible in the truck.

It may even be possible for people to use the TV in their trailer for the same purpose, it would only need to be switched from one location to the other.

I am thinking of doing that as well.

My kids look outside and learn about where we are going, I had an entertainment system years ago but pulled it out because all the kids did was fight about what to watch or play, now they look forward to seeing the sights

I'm with Flyrotor on this one. Seems today kids spend way too much time glued to the tube or video games. They can have a lot of fun playing games like counting red cars or singing 99 Bottles of Beer. In the long run, I think they're better for it.

I agree with that, and it's all about balance. Notice I did not say my kids spent the entire trip watching the screen. To each their own I suppose. I grew up without a screen as well on our family road trips, and I survived. I just think that at times, having access to one comes in handy, especially with three kids sitting together on the back bench.

May also be illegal in some states especially if it can be seen by the driver. Considered a distraction and hazardous. I kbow I would stay far clear if I saw something like this being used in a Tow Vehicle.
