Controll Pannel ?

Hello , Newbie here. Not sure if this is the place to ask this question or not.

Has anyone replaced the control panel that tells battery, black , grey and fresh water levels with something more digital. I mainly want to see an exact number on my Battery level then 3 or 4 red lights.

Thanks
Scott

Hello, Scott, and welcome to the forum.

We use a voltmeter for our trailer plugged into a 12v accessory outlet. Knowing the battery voltage, and charging voltage, is an easy first step, very inexpensive, and an order of magnitude better than the (virtually useless) battery level lights.

For the fresh, grey, and black tanks there are level indicators that are better than the factory ones. Some of those are expensive and some folks report that they get fouled and may not be much better than the factory indicators.

You'll probably hear from folks on this site that have better monitors and what their experience has been.

I just bought a nice digital voltmeter display and switch from a chinese site for a few bucks. Works great, looks good, and was pretty easy to install.

I have not seen a complete replacement unit as you are looking for but that is a great idea. Although you would have to change out and rewire all the sensors as well.

There are replacements for voltage and tank levels separately. The sky is the limit.

I would recommend a battery monitor like the Trimetric TM2030 or something similar. Much much better than the existing voltage indicator on the trailer.

Tank levels..Flashlight down the toilet for black tank.
Grey tank is full when water starts coming back up your shower!!
