Eagle324BHTS Awning length possibities..

Hello Jayco Members:

I am interested in purchasing a new Eagle 324BHTS and was wondering if any current owners have any awning coverage issues since the kitchen slide comes out into the camp side of the trailer. We always place the picnic table in this area of cover to protect from the rain. We were wondering if the awning is wider to still give you the coverage that the kitchen slide takes up. Also while looking at several photos, if they would place a longer awning on the trailer and extend it forward then there would be more coverage and protection.

any thoughts from current owners would greatly help out. I have a call into Jayco and I have gotten no call back as of yet.

We have the 2016 324bhts and do the same with the picnic table (put under awing)with no issues. The awing is 18ft wide. You will have plenty of space under the awing. We found that putting the table forward of the stairs against the camper works well for us.

PS we love this camper!!!

Thanks so much for your response. The pictures are not like real life that's why I figured current owners would know better. I really could not tell if a table could actually fit under the front part. I observed that other eagle products have a 21 foot awning and was going to see if the factory would install that awning instead of the 18 foot one. Their might be an engineering issue possibly... Thanks again ..
