You are correct, I just noticed it after you pointed it out. I 'borrowed' that pic from another website. The general principle remains the same though regardless of the incorrect indexing of the picture. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hey guys, great thread. Thanks for all of the great ideas! I use a different adapter that I didn't see mentioned here. https://camperlite.com/running-light...mpers-and-rvs/ Easy to connect, and I haven't had any issues with it. Hopefully this helps, and enjoy this summers adventures!

Just wondering why you would pay $25 for something that you can do with a simple blade fuse???

Unfortunately, the "whole family" is not privy to using blade fuses from installation to connection, but they all can plug in a simple adapter

I had a wiring glitch in my truck that prevented the running lights from coming on. All the other features were working correctly when the 7 pin was plugged in (turn signal, brakes, 12v etc.). What's a quick way to get your running lights to come on when the 7 pin is connected and your tow vehicle is not turning the lights on?

It wont burn the trailer .. its just some people are easily upset and don't like to see things "blinking" in the night.. I did the blinker mod incase of emergency and called 911 it makes your RV easier to find..

For those that do not have LED running lights just keep in mind how much current those bulbs burn. If you are on house battery it won't last long. They also generate heat and the housings may deform. Older lights also have corroded sockets which create even more heat. Turn them on for a while and check each one.
We usually leave our outside lights (white LED) off during summer since they attract bugs. I suspect the red and yellow running lights will not.
Lights on or off? Just personal preference and how your rig is set in relation to others. If everyone is close then the extra lights can be an issue. Most CGs we have stayed at have enough lights that a few more won't make a difference.
I would prefer under belly lights since they would also help to keep rodents away.
