lol...I was voting for magic but brackets make more sense.

I like the idea. I have a smaller one that is magnetic on my stove hood right by the door.

You can get the mounts off Amazon cheap. I have a set mounted beside the seat of my pickup. I estimate I have about $1,000 worth of maglites. It's like my wife and her shoes, every time I see one on sale I buy it. Also helps to get the rubber cap that keeps it from rolling around.

It's pretty low. And comes out pretty easy. We keep one under the kitchen under the sink and one in the outside kitchen. Both are bigger. If it wasn't already mounted there by Jayco I would move it

I have one mounted in my home basement like that onto a bare 2x4. Is there solid wood in that location by the door? Or do the bolts go through and into the fiberglass?
