Got me a new grill...yumyum!!!

just finished installing a new grill on the WhiteHawk....the small one that came with it was fine for burgers and hotdogs....this one has room on top rack for all the extras....now to get it to the campgrounds...might have to try it sitting here in the yard first....I smell a ribeye or a porkchop, maybe some corn and bake potato on that top rack....yumyum!!!

That's a good looking grill! But I got to know what brand it is. I may want one.

Where does that store while traveling? Front pass-through? Or did you remove the microwave from the side kitchen?!

This grill is a 2 burner by Backyard Grill, model BY13-101-001-10, from WalMart....price $138.....had to make modifications...

1) removed the regulator that comes with it because you have one on your TT tanks.
2) went to local plumbing supply company and got fittings to connect between where I unscrewed the regulator and a male quick connect so I could still use my hoses at back of the WhiteHawk.
3) used same support bar that mounts on the rear bumper that old grill sat on....had to move one of the pins out 2 inches that's on the support bar because the new grill is 2 inches wider.
4) removed the T shaped mounting pieces that slide over the pins from the old grill as well as the side handles and attached those to the new grill.

I have a lot of pieces that form the cart this new grill would have sat on which will get stacked back in my shop...I don't throw anything away....but, I now have a larger grill with a top rack that can be used.....was not happy with the grill that came with our Jayco WhiteHawk.

I will store this in a tote and slide into the front pass-thru storage....can't use the lid of the tote but the tote keeps the grease from leaking out into my storage compartment......this is the way I stored the old grill.
