gunboat storage

My bride's feet aren't very big, but my son and I have gunboats and I was tired of our shoes always being in the way. Finally came up with what I think is a good answer. We'll find out the next 2 weeks while out.

I think this is my wife's biggest complaint, shoes are always in the way. Great Idea for hiding the shoes! I'm going to have to take a look at my trailer to see if I have a spot I can make the same mod. All my size 12's really get in the way.

Nice work! Our solution is to keep shoes outside! I have debated adding a door below the dinette bench seat for same...

Great job on the storage area. I like that. We have a cupboard next to where we come in, thats where we store the shoes and a wicker basket that we keep our slippers in. It's very common to see people create a space at the top of the stairs just under the entrance way. They use a grate or something similar that that fits between the staircase frame. Think i

Thanks for all the nice comments. My bride likes it, so its all good. This forum is full of inspiring ideas, which I appreciate. I don't know if something like this was on here but I do know that, as campers, we have to make efficient use of our space.

Nicely done! It sure beats my old laundry basket full of shoes under the steps. I might have to see if I can do this on mine.
