Hanging Plastic Awning Lights

We've been seeing those colorful hanging plastic awning lights this year and can't seem to find where to get them. They are about the size of basketball.
Does any of our forum friends out there know where to find them? Thanks!

All of the local RV dealers around here "WV/KY" have them. You can also get them on Ebay.

Saw those at a campground and they really put out a lot of light!

These are the ones that put out a lot of light depending on what watt bulb you put in them.

6 Clear Globe Lights with 30' Cord - Direcsource Ltd D07-0008 - Patio Lights - Camping World

Online there are several more color options if you desire a specific color. I have black smoke for mine with 40w bulbs. It's just enough light without being overpowering. Also you can rig in a regular 120V dimmer switch if you desire in a waterproof box.

They do put out a lot of light but you an buy a dimmer cord for them. We have the smoked colored globes with a dimmer and it works perfect.

The size of a basketball? Those are huge. I have never seen any lights that large before.

Yeah, they must have used 60 watt bulbs in them, it was very bright.

I just bought a set of the 6" globe polymer products in multi-color, put in 10 watt (60 watt equivalent) Dimmable Daylight LED's. I am going to make up an outdoor box with a dimmer. Hopefully it dims without flickering. If that doesn't work, I will just put in 25 or 40 watt equivalent bulbs in. I need to find that happy medium.

Yes I know what our talking about. The lamps the size of a basketball became popular a number of years ago. They were made by the diy people who made the lamps out of clear plastic drinking cups and than a string of led Xmas lights were strung thru the holes. The cups were stuck to each other by using a soldering iron
which made the hole that the led lamps were strung thru. Very effective.

The only large basketball size lights I've seen are the puzzle lights. They were selling them at the Boston RV show this past winter. Is this what you're talking about? They came in a variety of solid and mixed colors.
