Help with 12 volt power, Norcold N811

I have a Norcold N811 fridge and it has struggled in exceptionally hot or humid weather. I installed a fan in the rear stack to help run cooler and am looking to install a CPU fan inside to help run cooler.

I have struggled to find a 12 volt power source that only gets power when the fridge is turned on. I was able to find constant 12 volt from this control box, but it requires a switch to turn it on and off. I'd prefer if both fans automatically came on only when the fridge was turned on.

Rather than start poking through insulation of the wires to find a switched 12 volt, I figured I would start here.

Any help or suggestions? Thanks guys!

Here is a pic of where I got mine. I piggy backed onto a push on connector. Red wires.
It looks different wire color on yours. Just check for 12dc when on and nuttin when off. It must be the BLUE wire.

Like Norty, I took my power from the control board and ran the wire up the condensate drain hose. I also put a thermostat and a switch in the line to control when it runs. I put the thermostat in series and placed it against the large tube that gets hot when the fridge is on.

It looks like we are both hitting on the same wire (different colors though, thanks for continuity Jayco...). The trouble is that mine has constant power, even with the fridge off. Am I missing something here...?

I use this to power the outside fan. I believe it does have 12vdc on it all the time but the fan is controlled by a heat sensor on the burner tube.

If you need power inside for a fan, how about the inside fridge light for a source?
