all looks well thought out and useful ... that's important ... looks like a lot of work and thought went into the mods ... I might have to do that with my manual cranks

IceOnFire's mods to 28BHBE
spepi: Wi-Fi hardware I used was a Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 CPE connected to an Airgateway LR wireless router. I mounted Nanostation on my batwing which is the highest point on my rig, and is the best place to catch good WiFi signals. The Nanostation is connect to (via Ethernet cable) and powered by the Airgateway Router which is mounted under my TV. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in my roof and ran an Ethernet cable down. There is some technical setup involved, you can find some references on YouTube and Google which will get you going.

Thanks for posting your mods...
What did you use for supports for the Shelves?
Did your dinette seats come with black pull out trays?

We screwed in 3 inch cuts of wood which covered each side and the back. The shelf was cut so that it fit snug right on top of of cuts of wood. The storage closet sides are thin so you have to be careful on the size of screws you use.

Ice, Im a newbie to both trailer camping and forums. My Wife, Son and i just picked up our 2016 28BHBE last weekend and although we have only been playing with it in our driveway, we are rapidly falling in love with it. Could you help with a little more information on how you installed the shelves in the wardrobe closets. how did you support the shelves and what did you screw into? i'm a little nervous about putting holes in things yet.

Ice,
Nice mods so far!!!
Keep up the good work!!!
Ski,
Check my mods link for how I did our shelves. Just cut a side piece, screwed a cleat to it for the shelf to sit on, set the sides in place, then slid the shelf in.

Do you hire out?
Love the shelves and cabinet mods (DH already has the wifi boost thingy nailed lol). But both of us lack in anything cabinetry related
We are camping down the road from you. But, heading up the road Tuesday. Great ideas. Thanks

I ended up getting the same Wi-Fi setup, which I found the install from Outside our Bubble Blog. It works ok. You will always get connected to your own private WLAN, but getting a strong connectivity at a campground is tough will all the connected devices.

My nephews campground only has 5 families that camp back there and I doubt everyone would be connected all the time. Still think it will serve our purposes? The nearest Hotspots are between 1.6 and 2.3 miles away.
Also, on the Awning LED Dimmer, you showed 2 red wires and 1 black going up the post. How did you determine which red wire to splice into?

Did you make the under seat cabinets from scratch? Or did you find some and build the tracks?

The underseat drawers were custom built. They were made from solid wood which I used to store items such as pots, pans, and bowls.

Trial and error, but it doesn't work that great. All the led light kits have universal remotes, so the one I have for my storage powers the one at my rear kitchen and everything else. I don't know if I would do it again

I'm curious why did you put disconnects on both batteries? What would be the need to remove one battery?
