Locating VIN#

I just purchased a 1995 Jayco Designer Series and new to license it and they have to verify the VIN # and I can not locate on the tent trailer. Can anyone help me and tell me where it is located? I have looked everywhere.

Assume the bill of sale has the VIN on it, ask the seller where they got the VIN from or where its located. Probably on the tongue somewhere, unless the mfg tag was lost or came off for some reason.
