Mod to Rear Lounge area

Finally took out that annoying Swivel chair by the Door. I started to make my own cabinet last year but just could not decide which style. We were at IKEA 2 weeks ago and the olde light bulb went on. Picked this Cube Cabinet up for $35 and the baskets & drawers for another $45. Put it together, pulled out the Chair by the door out and secured this to the Metal Loop plates for the Tie-Down Straps with 'L' brackets. . I left the strap as backup insurance and can pass over the whole cabinet to secure if needed. Placed clips to hold the drawers closed when traveling. Placing a small strap at the top of the baskets to secure

Just finished earlier today so no real world experience towing but it feels as solid as a rock.

That chair served no purpose to us and was always in the way. Imho the 27DSRL is not long enough to have a chair so close to the door, so we have made it a place for Seamus to curl up in. I like what you have done with that space to increase storage.

Well, We have finally tested this Mod and it works great. Used Larger Brass Cup hooks in the backs of the Baskets to secure from sliding forward. Just lift back and hook on cross piece. Found we use the Bottom right as a produce bin, bottom left Board games, Card games, et. Top right is for Outdoor 'stuff' i.e. sprays, insect repellent, etc. Bottom drawer is the 'Junk' drawer, other is for small flashlights, Phone/tablet charging cords. Simple and effective Mod.
