Mods to front storage area

Used some scrap wood lying around the shop to put a shelf in the front compartment. Did this a year ago and has really helped in storing things.

We use plastic totes with lids in the storage area. All are the same W & L but 2 different heights so they can be stacked and will slide in side by side. One has all the hoses, cords, sat tv cables, etc.. Another filled with crockpot, fans, and other small appliances. On a long stay site, I pull most of them out and stack them under the TT which give me easy access to the items I need and the covered totes keep everything clean and dry. It also frees up the storage area to use for other stuff I take out of the bed of the truck while were set up.

Thanks, you have to get creative when storing things in an RV. It seems like when I go to get something out of the storage compartment, it's always in the middle where I can't reach! I'm going to try and post another pic of the other side of the storage area(door side)

To reach things in the center we use a carpet runner. We just pull the carpet toward us and it makes it easy to reach things. When we are done we go to the other side and pull the carpet back into place.
