More Power ????

Back in 2008, I mounted FOUR Group 27's on my tongue.

You just make a angle iron "tray" for them..........

Gash your leg on the sharp corners....

Mount it on the tongue...... (the tray not your leg)

Install your batteries and wire them in.
(be sure you strap them securely so they can't BOUNCE out of tray)

I moved my tank mount forward about 4".
The crank still clears.

BE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR TURNING CLEARANCE AFTERWARD !!!
Clearance might be reduced by adding anything to, or moving anything forward on, the tongue.

Now......

It is important for me to add to this post the fact that only ONE of those cheap chinamart batts has survived.

One had the plates break and shorted, and two just got to where they would not hold a charge.

I am going with the glass mat sealed 6 volts next.
