More storage anyone?

Here's my latest mod...

before...Look at all that room!...

Frame work...

Frame with lid installed...

I used 2 friction lid stays to keep the lid up...

We don't have any use for the hide-a-bed and the wife wanted some more storage options. Took about 2 hours to construct the frame and lid. I used 2x2 furring strips for the frame.

Nothing wrong with that....now you can throw the Monopoly game (and a few more items) in the RV on the next outing.

Very nice mod. Our sofa has a drawer under it.

Nice work on that mod. Our 22FB has storage under the sofa too (which I found out). If you tilt the sofa part way up, you can flip the front bottom piece up to easily get things in or out.
