Mounting Backup / Rearview Camera on TT

Hello, I am in the process of trying to figure out the best way to attach my backup / rearview camera to the top of my travel trailer and was wondering how others have attached theirs. My main question is it okay to screw into the trailer? Anything I should be concerned about other than water and making sure the screws are sealed? Are there studs I should be aiming for? It's going on top of a x17z.

I thought about using double sided tape on the mounting bracket but was worried about how it would react being exposed to the elements 365 days of the year. Another option I thought about was to use 3M auto glass urethane to attach the mounting bracket (about 600 pounds per square inch and very flexible).

Thanks!
Jake

Which backup camera are you using?

I installed the Voyager Wireless camera just last weekend on my Eagle. The instructions I got from Jayco have you drill holes into the fiberglass and then use the included screws (came with the camera system) to attach the mounting bracket along with some silicone to keep everything sealed up.

The middle marker light in the back had the wiring for power to the camera, not sure if yours is the same or not?
