New chairs (instead of bench seat)

I replaced one bench seat with these two foldable chairs...and waiting on the new reclining loveseat. I also raised the table height by 3/4" which makes it easier to access the bench seat.

Looks nice! how much patch work if any was required when you pulled the existing bench out?

I was thinking of doing the same thing but replacing with some kind of comfortable chair like a computer chair.

My only thing holding me back is if there will be significant damage from removing the bench seats.

Could you photo the walls and floor showing any residual damage please.

Thanks!!

I haven't done any patchwork yet. There were a couple holes where the bench was secured to the wall and a couple more where the metal bracket was used to support the bench seat back but they were fairly small and could be filled. The floor screw holes (about 8 of them) are not visable due to the carpet and the carpet "mash down" area will come out with time (maybe even before I replace the carpeting). I'm thinking about doing the other side as well but need to consider giving up the storage.
