Thanks for sharing your pics. I especially like the storage you added on the tongue. I think there's room on mine to do the same.

Your welcome!

Doug,

Looks like a clean installation on top of the A-frame......., no room on mine.

I'm into my second week of boondocking...., towed my TT down a National Forest two-track and my rear bumper bottom-mount had plenty of clearance!

Bob

Thanks Bob,
Yep, mine was just the opposite. The back bumper is low and flimsy.
It's not square stock, it's just a single flat piece.
My sewer storage tube just fit between the regulator and the tank on the A-frame.

I am now putting some shelving in the closet over the bed and all should be good :-)

Next week could be nice camping weather here in Southern Ohio
Best regards,
Doug

Easy fix found…

Same problem with sewer hose getting stuck in square storage aka rear bumper. Read that this is quite common. Researched various alternatives: pvc pipe, tote in storage area, etc.

I’m guessing China didn’t get the measurements quite right when they decided to make a cheap copy and got the connectors sized a bit large.

Finally chose the cheap route and used my grinder and sander to shave off about 1/16” on each of the 4 flat surfaces on each female connector.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

That is an awesome solution. When I was a newbie I just purchased a spare bumper and then welded it in place. Your solution is so much easier (and lighter).
