Hey All,
Installed this remote control for the water pump.
Wireless Keychain Remote as a remote on / off...

Why? Well, with dual controls for the shower and the sink. Sometimes I want to cut the water flow without re-adjusting the controls. (such as when in the shower (yes, the shower head sort of works - but there is still a trickle flow and the pump cycles), or with wet hands doing the dishes, or in-between showers so water isn't wasted by whoever comes after re-adjusting for a hot shower.
Works like a charm. I replaced one of the screws in my shower enclosure with a hook and the remote hangs in the shower, very convenient... I also cracked open the remote to have a look and it's waterproof!
Or at least water resistant enough where I am not worried about the thing failing from water damage. (there is a rubber membrane over the circuit board that seals in place when you snap the remote together)
Simple hookup. 12V + and - from the coach into the board, and 12V + and - from the board to the water pump. When you switch on the circuit via. the water pump switch it defaults to off or on depending on how a jumper on the board is set.
Just joined the site - hope you find this interesting!
Cheers, Arthur...
