Replaced Recliners with Theater Seating

I didn't see any levers for reclining the recliners in the photos. Are they electric? if so, what brand are they?

We looked at some electric ones, they were pretty neat but the unit we bought is not electric, it has manual pull handles between the seat cushion and the side.

The unit we bought is made by Lane Furniture, we picked it because of the soild construction, we wanted a durable unit since we use it everyday.

I know I'm being a pest but I'm having trouble visualizing the handle location, even after staring at your photos (I don't doubt you, I just don't get it). Could you post a photo showing where a handle is?

If it's anything like the sectional sofa (has two built-in recliners) that I have at home.., my finger-pull handles are hidden between the side of the seat cushion and the armrest, easy to access while sitting in the recliner.

Here are a couple of pictures showing the release handles.
We looked at another brand and they had a lever arm instead of the handles on pull cables.

Small wonder I couldn't see them! Tiny little things. It's good to know that option is available besides a lever on the outside of the recliner (which is what I usually see) that would be problematic in an alcove like a slide or electric (expensive).

Could be murder on the ceiling and roof.

The Lane Theater Unit we bought is approx 73" Wide, approx 40" Deep and approx 40" Tall.

The top of the back of the seating unit fits just under the window that was over the sofa.

We can close the slide with about 3 inches clearance between the seating unit and the counter.

The seating unit is about 4 inches llonger than the sofa we moved to the back so we lost approx 4 inches between the end of the seating unit and the dinning table chair but still have plenty of room for the dining chair as we use it everyday.
(We only have one dining chair on each side as there is only two of us, the other two chairs are in our storage unit)
