Shelf where top bunk used to be

Finally got around to it today .

removed the top bunk several months ago.

the 2x2 against the long wall was attached from the outside. So decided to reuse the materials from the bunk and make a shelf, 12" deep
3rd picture shows 1x4 cap/face. all corners are rounded over.
