Shower head stop-valve???

Anyone modded their RV to have a stop-valve of some sort installed on the shower head?

My 28BHBE has a nice size shower head, but the thing can't be stopped/paused unless you shut the faucets off!

On my previous TT, you could flip a switch on the head and it would stop the water from running without losing your water settings.

Would be nice to be able to rig something up similarly on this shower head or hose!

This is the way to go IMHO. Best thing we have added to our camper.

You can buy the screw on shutoff valve at most big box stores. I got mine at Home Depot.

As Norty has already mentioned, Home Depot carries one that fits nicely between the hose and the shower head. I put one in my last trailer a couple of years ago and it worked so well we added it to our new HT. Cost was about $5.

I thought my shower didn't come with a cut off valve too, but then I found it. The dial on the outer ring of the head, which I thought only affected the spray pattern, also will shut off the flow when you turn it all the way.

Maybe try that before buying anything.

Ditto on the Oxygenics shower head. The OEM head (Camco I think) had a lever on the head that slowed the flow to a trickle, but was miserable as a shower spray. The Oxygenics won't totally stop water flow, but it's not designed to, should you need a little water to lather up.

I have the Oxygenics RV model which has a push button shutoff. I like it a lot better than the one without the button!
