Swift 184BH MOD

The over head cabinet storage was difficult for me to get into, seemed like wasted space. We decided to make it easier to access. Using one cabinet door from the kitchen area, and reusing the pieces from this cabinet, this MOD did not cost any extra money.Click image for larger version

Nice mod - were you able to rig up anything to keep the door up while your rummaging inside the bulkhead?

Right now we have not anything to hold the door up. I plan to add locking hinges to each side so it will stay up. It is so much easier to get in it now, and actually see what is in there.

I pulled the microwave out of my 184BH and did a swing up cabinet door and used a strut like this http://www.amazon.com/Stabilus-Stay-...=cabinet+strut from Home Depot and it works great. Holds the door open and keeps. It closed without a latch.
