Thermostat and lights
Well just replaced my thermostat with the Hunter digital 42999.. works well on heat... have to see about the A/C when I have hookups...
Also replaced 4 bulbs with LED's in the living room... they are kind of purpilish instead of pure white but I can live with it... the bulbs were a direct 1156 plug in...

Howdy Seann,
Are the led's bright enough for reading? Where did you get them? I've heard many stories of people replacing their OEM lights for LED's, but then going back because the LED's were not bright enough. Others recount buying some rather expensive LED's that worked out just fine. What brand and model did you get? Sorry for all the questions, but this is a mod I am very interested in and I would like to learn from others who have done it.

Here is the LED that I bought for the toilet room on my 318RLS, http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/rv/RV-T10-wedge-380.htm I bought it as a direct replacement for the 921 wedge bulb that was in there since the LED is much cooler. I leave the light on 24/7 for my mother. I cannot tell any difference between it and the incandescent that it replaced.

Those look better than the ones I got.. and about the same price...I got mine from Amazon.com .... but I put mine in the dinning room/Living room area and they are 1156's... a little dim but I use the area for my computer so I just need to be able to see the keyboard.
Might order me some of those when they are back in stock

I replaced my thermostat with a Hunter. Works great because it only has a 1 degree variance either way before it comes on. The factory model seemed to have a 5 or 6 degree variance.

I agree with the thermostat variance Tanker42. 5 to 6 degree spread is what I saw on a/c and I didn't want to live with that for heat so I changed mine back in October. I did go with the Coleman digital replacement and the one degree you mention is typical for me.

I have a 15k rear a/c and a 13.5k front unit. The 15K model #8335D8764. The 13,500 Model #8333E7564. The part # for the digital t-stat on the 15k is 8330-3362. The part # for the digital t-stat on the 13,500 is 8330-3392.

The 8330-3662 has the heat function. Please note my 13.5k a/c does not have heat and uses a different thermostat.

I have been looking into the thermostat mod & many of the mods have a small switch added to get the hi/low fan. but I think I can live with hi only.
