Thermostat installed.
Sitting at the GC and realized I had picked up the Hunter thermostat the other day but never got around to installing it. Decided to give it a go with support from the instructions found on this site and DW.
The only fly in the ointment was the fact that the original two wires from the furnace on our X17Z are VERY short. If I was at home, I would have extended these but figured I'd just work slow and cautious and try not to drop the wires down inside the wall by the fridge.
Success... now with the temp dips tonight, we should see much less cycling of the furnace.
Now time to enjoy a little Netflix.. over the GC wifi.
