Truck bed drawer

This is a link to a homemade sliding truck bed drawer. I saw this on another forum and thought you guys would like it too. I'd like to build one for my truck bed and one for the pass thru. I hope the link works and hope you will get some inspiration from it. I did.

It's nowhere near as sexy as that truck bed drawer but what I did was take an extending pole (like a painters pole), put a strong hook on the end of it, and I use it to grab things that are far away in the bed. Works like a charm and I can push or pull with it so I don't need to climb in or out.

New truck will have a retractable bed cover with bed steps on the sides and a tailgate step in the back. Of course I won't throw my trusty "Snagger" away.

I've used one of my cargo bars for a "snagger" many times.

I've used my awning snagger for ever but I think it's time for a upgrade. Where I would really find this useful is in the pass thru storage. I quite often have to remove several items to get at something I want further in. This system is simple and rugged. The cost of building this certainly outweighs the cost of the commercial product.
