UV window film

I have read about applying uv protecting window film on my motorhome' s windows to protect from fading, reflect some heat, and also protect occupants from glass in event of breakage.
I have this product at home, on the interior of windows, is this how it goes on in an rv?
From the inside of the window?
What is a good product.?
Thanks

I've applied an opaquing film to glass in a prior home. Clean windows thoroughly (usually the film maker will recommend a solution for glass prep). Apply agent, apply film squeegee and trim....piece of cake

EDIT:....yes, apply to the inside...
