Whitehawk Magnetic pass-through storage door catches

Sometimes it irks me a bit to see how my Whitehawk misses the mark on little conveniences. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice unit, but it's just odd where Jayco chose to cut corners. For example, the front pass through storage area has nice, thick slam-latch doors with quality hardware - and then crummy spring-loaded/manual door catches. Why not spend the $10 it would cost them to use magnetic latches instead of the $20 I end up spending retail? One-handed door operation is a nice feature to get for the front storage compartment. Anyway, here's the link to the magnetic catches I'm going to install next week, I'll post pics when complete. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thank you for posting this. I was looking for a magnetic solution a few years ago but gave up and replaced the broken plastic catches. Saved to wish list for next project.

I just replaced my door catches, as they were UV yellowed and brittle, with the standard ones. Fortunately they are cheap, because I'm ordering these to replace the standard ones.
