Window Shades

Like most I'm always concerned about ways of reducing heat in my coach during hot summer months. While performing a mod on my rooftop ac unit with reflectix I had the bright idea to use reflectix and some velcro strips to create window shades.

I decided to do the back windows of my coach as those are the furthest from the AC unit. Although we have ducted ac, the air flow is obviously less the further away you get. So the bedroom fights to stay cool.

So I measured the windows and cut reflectix for each of bedroom windows and two bunk windows up to the kitchen. I have noticed that it is much easier to keep the temperature down in the back now. I used velcro on them to attach so i could then pull them down, roll up and store them away.
