Very nice we have a 23B and currently a yukon 2500. The new ford pickup is what we are thinking for our next TV. How do you like it?

Thank you for the kind words. The EB tows the trailer with authority. Incredible acceleration for merging into traffic, handles very well without any sway control device, braking is seamless with the integrated TBC.

Towing mileage is the same as everyone else...10mpg, but unloaded city driving is 17mpg and highway nearly 22mpg.

The rear camera is a must. I can back the truck up to the trailer unassisted and drop it right on the ball every time!!! What a marriage saver!!!

Love the oversized extendable towing mirrors as well.

Would you believe that is where he makes his mother-in-law ride?

That's thoughtful, the tt roof would have been dangerous.

Yeah that is my youngest daughter. I let her get out of the truck bed when we stop.

Do you let her eat and sleep inside the trailer?

I was wondering since your comments from July, if you still like how the F-150 EcoBoost tows/handles? My wife and I are looking for a new truck with the F-150 Ecoboost under consideration.

Nope, I don't like it at all. I LOVE IT! Makes me smile every time we hook up the 23B. I can't wait till spring and the first trip rolls around!

If you're looking for superduper gas mileage, don't buy one. Buy it for the power, acceleration and towing ability. I get 10mpg towing, 15 city and 13 highway. Other folks are squeezing 17 city and 22+ highway but I have no idea how.

@mcfarmall , Thanks for the quick reply. Glad you're still liking your F150 Ecoboost. I suppose I'll have to pull the trigger decision very soon.

They are keeping their foot out of it...but not smiling as much as you!

I know someone who bought one, his is a 4x4 supercrew, medium box. He gets around 10.5L/100KM (22MPG) on the highway when he sets his cruise at 105km/h (60MPH).

The terrain around here is fairly level.

I also get 10mpg towing, 15 city, but highway mileage depends on which highway I'm on. 50mph gets me 20mpg. 70mph gets me 17mpg. What types of speeds are you averaging?

Between 70-75 on the highway. 45-55 on the side roads that I call "city". I can drive like a granny with the best of them and the happy mileage meter doesn't stray from 15.5. Are you resetting the mpg computer before each run?

Yes. I've reset. This past weekend, I reset while on the freeway, AVERAGING 70, I managed to sustain 20mpg. Rather than using cruise control and maintain a constant speed, I allowed the truck to slow as it climbed "hills" and accelerate due to gravity on the back side.
