94 1006 refit

I've finished up the refurbishment on the 94 1006 pop up I aquired about three months ago.

Some water damage required a little structural repair. I stripped and repainted the exterior, removed all moldings and resealed everything with ribbon sealer.

A new Bear Creek canvas was installed, (fit perfect). The awnings mounting spine was resewn and a couple of the poles repaired/replaced.

The interior was in good shape.I installed a parquet floor and corian counter tops. Then a good cleaning, Stove, fridge, A/C all work great. I added a toilet.

I added a Dexter axle 3" lift kit and new 13" wheels & tires.

The maden voyage will be the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway behind our 69 Chrysler 300 convertible next week. CAN'T WAIT ....!

I connected the camper to the car for the first time today. The tongue weight lowered the cars rear ride heigth by 1 1/2 inches which made everything level, even with the 3" lift on the trailer and all our gear stowed. Looks like we'll be ready to hit the Blue Ridge parkway come Monday......
