cold & lonely

A friends and mine at a seasonal we're trying out this year. We dropped them off last September and have been itching ever since.

... me too. I'm using the few good-weather days we have to get everything ready. It won't be long.

Next year I'm not letting winter stop me (within reason).

I find myself sitting on a tree stump in eye sight of my OFF-ROAD POPUP waiting for spring as well. Got my ole dog by myside scratching behind his ears. He is wanting to go somewhere too I think....

Old dogs and romping around in the woods kinda goes together I reckon.

My dog is the same way Roy.
I've been taking her hunting in the woods all winter.
I love tromping around in the woods and letting her jump some rabbits.
That's why I prefer the 20's versus warmer weather. Woods get muddy with the freeze thaw cycle we've been in here in Cincy.

Doug - I am right up next to a little woods where I park my off-road camper. I usually have it opened up during the summer and sit out there around the big bonfire... I've also been working on a big foot trail heading back into the woods. I'm getting deer walking out now right at the corner of my yard. They found my small apple tree haha... i just love to watch them roam around the edge of the woods at dusk... I notice we also have a fox coming out every now and then...

Another camper friend lives about mile thru the woods on the other side of it so I'm trying to get him started on trail from his side...

We have a small winding stream running thru that has water in it most of the time so must be a spring feeding it back there somewhere. Actually about half way is a clearing where I could setup a nice camping spot for my off-road camper... Have no idea who owns the woods here...

I will have me a sign pointing down the trail that reads BIGFOOT...

I suppose one of these days I will get a real bigfoot coming out haha...
