I live in Middle River and would love to set camp up there. I have done a drive thru yet never talked to anyone about the place. I only have weekends off and its booked solid for all the weekends left in the summer...Please do tell about the park...

Yeah, it's hard getting a spot in the summer. We've been a few times and booked a few months in advance. Stayed in the North East Loop, clean rest rooms, well maintained grounds, most sites are very good although a few are smaller. Best to do a drive through and take note. Turkey Point Lighthouse is worth seeing and not that far of a drive and the town of North East has nice restaurants and tourists things. Good for boating folks although we are not boaters. There is also a beach area with restrooms and snack house. Binoculars come in handy for birders.

You guys have to try Ramblin' Pines off Hoods Mill Rd off 70. Also try Jellystone in Quarryville Pa. I live in Abingdon and it takes less than an hour and it's pretty nice there. Very clean.

My wife and I just purchased our 2016 x17z and picked it up last week on friday. First trip was in Tremont PA that same night. Broke it in dry camping the first time. We live in Bel Air and were trying to get into Elk Neck this coming weekend but quickly learned you need weeks if not months in advance for reservation. We decided to try Muddy Run in PA this weekend.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new TT!
We stayed at Elk Neck last summer a few times. A friend who is familiar recommended booking early so sometime I think in Feb/Mar we booked our sites for the different weekends. Initially we had a pop up then last June we got the x17z. We didn't tell our friend so when we pulled into the site his eyes bugged-out seeing a new TT/TV. We had a big laugh because he didn't know it was us!
