Yes I had the same issue with the squeaking. I have the Equalizer and lubed the hitch ball and then the 2 arms that the bars slide on and that seemed to take care of the squeaks when make turns at slow speeds.

Happy Camping.

modmatt,

Thanks for the nice comments. I looked for a used F150 w/Eco-boost & HD tow package for about 2 years before I found this one. There are a lot of black ones around - it seems like 75% of the F150's on the road are black. Must be hard to pick out the right one in a crowded parking lot!(ha!ha!) I had decided on the "Golden Bronze" even before I decided on the Eagle. Just so happened, I found two almost identical at the same time. The other one was sold before I got to take a look at it. I couldn't be happier with either my truck or my trailer.

It may take a while, but keep on looking and you'll find the combo that's right for you!

Happy hunting; Happy camping!

X2 I was in the same spot, traveled 100 miles to a dealer to get the Golden Bronze with the specs the way I wanted for towing. Then the Eagle came along, we almost did the 2012 Eagle in white but held out for the 2013.

Now to try and find the Kodiak Brown truck with the same specs is even harder. Don't even see brown versions around here. I have no problem finding my truck. Ha ha.

Dan,

Just to follow up, took the Eagle out for a drive on surface streets the other day, and after giving the giving the zerks on the WDH a couple of squirts and some dry lube on the hitch ball . . . no more squeaks!

Glad to hear no more squeaks. The weather should be getting much nicer and we will all be enjoying the camping season. If you ever have any questions be sure to reach out.
