We have decided that this trailer will be our retirement home. IF our house sells this summer. We decided that we really didn't need 4 bedrooms when we only use the house about 3 months each year.

2011 Eagle 330RLTS with just about every option.
Dodge SRW 1 ton Cummins powered.

I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

I started out with a 3 man orange pup tent and it is still in my garage it must be 35 years old now. When my wife was still my girl friend we used to camp in the canopy of my 1983 Toyota 4x4 (gawd I miss that truck). When we had kids(now 21 and 18) we had a fulsize Bronco and got a 19 ft Terry trailer, we really liked the trailer and eventually got a 3/4 ton cummins diesel truck and sold the trailer and bought a camper. The truck got stolen, camper got sold, kids played softball all over the place, camping stopped. My parents took the girls camping so my wife and I stayed home and relaxed. Now we started camping again with our new Eagle superlite.

I pretty much took the same path, started out tent camping and on a motorcycle way way back. Progressed through the years and about 15 years ago I figured, well I might as do this full time. Can't think of any other way of living that provides so much enjoyment. Met alot of great people over the years, and to this day, I still think that the people that go camping are great.

For all the things that have changed over the years, there is still lots of stuff that remains the same.

Campfires, swimming, fishing, bike rides, bugs, bbqing, meeting new neighbours, kids and thier new friends.
There's a method to the madness, disturb the method and the madness begins.

We started out in tent. Move directly into a travel trailer after about 2 trips in a tent. Sold the travel trailer and went to a popup. We still have the popup and and picked up our hybrid today. The hybrid is our perfect camper. :hihi:

Many many years of tent camping while on motorcycle trips, then a leaky used tent trailer, then a 1977 ventura 13' fiberglass. Now a new baby and all her gear sent us shopping for a bigger unit and we ended up getting a Jayfeather Select 29L.

Tent, VW Camper, Starcraft pop-up, 28' Prowler (seasonal only), Scamp and finally our Jayco 242. We love the Jayco over all the others!
