Exactly the progression my family has taken...from canvas and cots to comfort and convenience.........(except for having to dump the blue boy)

Same path we followed. But we used air matress instead of cots during our tenting years.

Air Martress for us also! Never had a tent big enough for cots!!. If it were just me I'd probably still be in the tent or the PUP

The cots were the wifey's idea...didn't want any creepy crawlers getting to her...what she didn't think about was the Northern New Mexico bear that nearly did us in early one morning. Of course I am proud of that bear because that's when she decided to give the "thumbs up" on purchasing our first Jayco.

That is similar to what I would post if I had the pics on the computer. One addition would be an 8' pu camper.

Tent with bags on the ground, then cots, then a pop-up, then a 16ft TT, then a small fifth wheel, then a Class A (older). And day after tomorrow, we pick up our brand new Jayco 31RKS. Our first new RV. Can't wait.

I have camped for years, but always in RV's owned by relatives. I did it enough to know I wanted to full time when I retired. So this past August I purchased my retirement home listed in my signature.
Life is good so far and I made it through my first winter with no problems.

Kind of the way I'm looking at this 314 Eagle. This will be it for me, no need for anything else after this one. If anything as the kids get older and don't want to camp we may decide to downsize! But a have a long way before that happens!!
