Thumbs up maiden trip

Our first trip in our new to us Jayco, 2 days/nights at Patoka Lake. All went well, no issues! Now getting ready for our week long trip at the end of the month!

Looks like a nice place!

I noticed you didnt have your secondary awning support arms up. Was that intentional?

naaa...since the camper was new to you, just wanted to make sure you knew those raised up. Without them in place, a nasty gust of wind could do some serious damage.

Yeah...well you make fun of me...but that is a serious safety issue! Did you notice that there is also a squeak in the entry step? I think it needs some lube too.....

Omigosh, that was hilarious. Did the driver have to pull into the weigh stations? I would hate to back that combo, though.

The sleeper looks roomier than the camper.

Very nice rig. Heck I wish the awning police were there when I first set my old camper up the first time. I could have used all the scrutiny!

BTW

Is it just me or do I not see too many Jayco Fivers on the road? I mentioned this to my wife kind of surprised knowing the quality which goes into them. Anybody got some insight?

I believe that Keystone is the biggest 5er seller. Montana is #1 in fifth wheel sales and Mountaineer, Challenger, Big Sky, Cougar, and Outback are all their trailers.

We've noticed that as well, kind of suprizing really, but, don't recall having seen another jayco 5er going by, trailers yes but no 5er, maybe they are still hibernating and we will start seeing some when the weather gets better.
