Well it's a good thing you don't live near Cleveland right now, since those two don't seem to go hand in hand!

I have nothing but respect for our law enforcement. It is a tough and dangerous job.

Married to a 20+ yr LEO. Love the flag. Do they sell them like that or do you put blue duct tape or something?

Search thin blue line flag on Amazon. That's where I got mine. Paid a few bucks more to make sure it was made in the USA. [emoji6]

I think it's a wonderful way to acknowledge our police officers who are in the trenches every day. BTW, my youngest son is a career county policeman and many are in his circle of friends and family.

That said, when I was in the military I remember a course on flag etiquette and it specifically states that the flag can not be modified or added to.

Just wondering how that squares with this movement?

Flag etiquette is very important in my opinion. I will not fly the flag at night without lighting and will not fly it in bad weather. I am not a flag etiquette expert but try to abide by the rule as best as I can.

Since the flag is subdued and not the national colors I think the blue line is fine. With that said I wear a subdued flag with blue line on my tac vest carrier.

Law Enforcement Flag

I also was in law enforcement for 32 plus years; 13 in corrections, and 19 as a police officer. It's great to see the support!!!
