Our New Eagle and Campsite!!

We traded our Cougar 327RES in for our new Eagle 351MKTS. It is 3.5 feet longer than the Cougar but noticed no difference in towing it. I had the Dealership add two extra springs on my 2010 Dodge Ram Diesel and it tows the new Fifth Wheel as easy as the old one. My mileage home was identical to the Cougar, as I averaged 11.4 MPG.
We park it at a seasonal site in Upper Michigan and are planning a two week stay in Mackinaw at the end of June. So far we like everything about it. Having problems with the Remote for the slides and some of the other Remote's functions but the Dealership is going to take care of it. We had the Queen bed converted to the King and the Dealership (Northern RV) is also taking care of updating the Headboard, Night stand, bedding and platform. For now we have the King Mattress and are using it on the Queen Platform. So far so good. We bought a 4" Memory Foam with pillow top and have that on the mattress and like it better than the $2,000.00 bed we bought this spring for our stick home.
We removed the table and four chairs and converted that corner of the living space for our four legged friend, Stewie. He's our new camping Cat. He loves to travel and can't wait to go in the car. We never used the table in the previous camper as we always dine outside our use our recliners and perch in front of the TV. For us this worked out great!
We can't wait for our first real trip in it.
