Smile Our new Jayco 21M

Just brought her home to camp driveway.
I'm still filling out the warrenty cards.

I'll get the pic figured out in a minute or two.

I'm not much into the canvas hybrids, but that's a sweet unit !!!

Have a great time drive-way camping, and looking forward to hear all about your first voyage !!!

That's a nice camper. My daughters wanted that one when we were at the dealership. I have to admit I liked it too, but alas we chose the 17Z. Could not afford the extra $ or weight. Enjoy it!

Thanks for your comments

Yep, we've got trip planned in two weeks.
She's in storage now. Camp driveway is over.

It's a little heavy alright. Pushin' the limits of my TV.
After all the gear is loaded in the camper and truck, there's only about 500lbs to spare.
I'll let you know how our first trip turns out.

I thought the 2004's towed 9000lbs... your trailer is only 6000lbs wet-- should tow that baby easy.

Yeah, the 2004 with the 5.4 and 3.73 rear may be 9000.
Mine is the 4.6 with 3.55 rear. Max towing is 6200.
My GVWR for the F150 is 6950 but currently weighs 5700 empty with just me.
My Max GCWR is 11,700
The camper as delivered weighed 4890.
That leaves about 1110 lbs for the WD/AS gear, DW and all our gear.
I've calculated about 600 lbs for that. No other passengers and we have always traveled with minimal gear.

From what little experience I've had so far with this setup, I know we won't be taking it up in the mountains. That's why we're keeping the Pup.

We remember hearing these: I see said the blind man as he talked to his deaf daughter over the disconnected telephone.... And the other one is.... I see said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw!

That brings back memories Healthi, one of my grandfathers famous lines when doing home improvements was,"I see said the blind carpenter as he picked up his hammer and saw". It took me until I was about 12 to finally get it.
