2005 165 sport window

I wonder why they designed the sliding side of the sliding window front... street side, to be behind the door when the door is open ? it blocks any airflow in an already window lacking area. I was thinking of taking the window out and flipping it around so the open side was not blocked by the door. the tracks and weephole locations made me think..it won't work. also if I had the money I'd add a replacement jalosie (sp ) or sliding window to the front one too....
