My wife and I bought this trailer in December and have noticed that the waste drain is very low to the ground. I just measured it at 4" to the bottom of the cap. I checked the dexter web site and see that a lift kit can be purchased to lift the trailer. Has anyone had a lift kit installed on there trailer? Mine main concern is dragging the waste drain cap and piping when backing into a camp site or pulling into a driveway apron. My waste drain is located in front of the wheels.
Thanks

We had a 2008 JayFeather 19H. The waste outlet too was very close to the ground. It was also close to the rear tire which appeared to make the closeness to the ground a non-issue. We towed this trailer thousands of miles without dragging the waste outlet. I always watched though

Our issue with a low drain is that we cannot gravity drain into our portable black/gray water tank. Non issue if you never camp off the grid.
