2011 Jay Feather 165 setup and mods

New member here, thanks you guys for posting lots of usefull info on this site. I recently purchased a 2011 Jay feather 165. I have the Dexter 2-5/8 lift on order, along with a Camco Eaz-lift R3 WDH. This is a new style WDH that doesn't hang below the frame of the trailer. The trailer came w/ 14" alloy wheels. I will upgrade the 205/75-14 c rating to 215/75-14 D rated when these tires get sun rotted. I'm anxious to see what kind of height and ground clearance I will get from this lift and WDH. TV is a 09 frontier pro-4x w/ a small lift on 285/76-16. I plan on posting photos once everything is set up. After that I will work on a TV mount for a 24" tv, I have a plan, I hope it will work . Thanks again or all the info.

You are rolling in a good rig, Youngbuck.

I am happy to read that 2011 Sport165 has 14 inch wheels. All, or most, want to upgrade from our Sport165, 13 to 14 inch wheels and you are the first to give us a report that it works.

I'm running out of excuses to stay with the 13inch wheel.

I'm in east mesa near the 60 and 202. I'm not sure how the 14s ended up on the TT. I am the third owner. From the story I got the original owner only had it a short time and took it back east for one trip. The second owner was a retired guy who said he just replaced the tires, no wheels. They are alloy wheels on the trailer, w/ a 14" white steelie for a spare.
