2012 White Hawk Outdoor Speakers

Hey everyone,

Newbie camper here, Late last summer my wife and I bought a used 2012 White Hawk 26SRK. We were able to spend about 8 nights out camping last year, and we absolutely love our Jayco. However the outdoor speakers are both blown and sound terrible. They are the round type that appear to go inside the wall. Can anyone tell me what size these are so i can order some new ones and get them installed before the season starts. Also if anyone has any brand suggestions that would be much appreciated.

ok.. if the last 4 of your VIN are bewteen 0051 and 0113 speaker is:

0220171--SPEAKER,ROUND 5.25 INSIDE 2-WA WHITE GRILL 4-OHM 25-WATT QX-3

VIN 0114-END is:

0220172--SPEAKER,ROUND 5.5 2-WAY WITH WHITE GRILL WATERPROOF 4-OHM 50-W 3.5 THICK

Part numbers are the Jayco part numbers, but any GOOD marine speaker should work.

What did you end up going with. I have same problem with one being blown. I took speaker out and mine says 30W 4 OHMS. PO#26731 on them. Part number 17-MSW550

I would like something better quality, has anyone found something better that fits?

I ended up buying a pair of Boss Audio Marine speakers. (MR50B 150-WATT 2 WAY MARINE 5.25") I got these on Amazon for about 20 bucks for the pair. They sound 10 times better than the stock ones, however they are by no means audio competition quality. I have used them all season so far (about 8 trips) and no problems.

One thing i did have to do was use a Dremel to make the opening slightly larger, but not much. Once installed I ran a bead of silicone all the way around both speakers just to prevent any leaks. Let me know if you have any questions on this, I think total time to install was maybe 30 minutes.

Sorry to say the quality of these radio units they use is so far from good I would suggest mounting a aftermarket car radio. This what I am going to do after this season.
